Flow Management Specialist 

Summary of Duties: The Flow Management Specialist is primarily responsible for providing staff with work to be completed to support the business processes of Synergy. This role is a combination of administrative, reporting and task management to ensure appropriate work is assigned to all areas of Synergy and follow-up on outstanding items to ensure completion.  

Essential Functions:

  1. Be responsible for the quantification, assignment and ensuring completion by appropriate resources to support Synergy workflows and processes.
  2. Follow standard operating procedures and maneuver in multiple payer portals, PM softwares, Clearinghouses and other file sharing locations to collect work to be completed.
  3. Ensure timely assignment of work to Synergy staff to maintain commitments to Synergy clients.
  4. Learn all aspects of the revenue cycle and work in collaboration with the appropriate individuals to enhance processes and procedures at Synergy.
  5. Assist in process improvement and streamlining and automation of business processes related to workflow assignment.

 

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Skills Required:                                      

  1. At least one year of document management, data entry or administrative assistant experience required.
  2. Must be able to type 45 WPM.
  3. Knowledge of revenue cycle and PM software’s preferred.
  4. Ability to operate a computer and basic office equipment is required.
  5. Well organized, self-starter that is detail oriented with a positive attitude and strong desire to succeed.

Environmental Conditions/Physical Demands: Normal office environment. Occasional overtime may be required and/or hours may be shortened as business needs dictate. Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment. Manual dexterity needed for using a calculator and computer keyboard.
