Overview

Texas Association of Community Health Plans (TACHP): TACHP represents the interests of Medicaid and CHIP managed care programs owned by Texas public and non-profit health systems. Their mission is to improve the health and well-being of Texans through accessible, quality, and cost-effective health care. TACHP collaborates with community health plans to advocate for policy solutions and support business initiatives related to public health insurance programs.

Participating Plans

UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Texas: This plan supports various programs, including: UnitedHealthcare Dual Complete®, Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), STAR (State of Texas Access Reform), STAR+PLUS, UnitedHealthcare Connected®, STAR Kids.

Community Health Choice: Community Health Choice participates in the STAR Managed Care Program (Medicaid). They provide both Children’s Medicaid and Medicaid for pregnant women at no cost to U.S. residents who cannot afford health insurance.
