Synergy Billing was founded by Jayson Meyer in 2006 to support Federally Qualified Health Centers by providing revenue cycle management and professional services to help them serve more patients. The FQHC mission became Synergy Billing’s mission.
Initially, Jayson developed training for his team members to teach them the unique requirements of FQHC billing. As time went on, Synergy Billing became sought after as an externship site for all of the community’s colleges. CareerSource, the local workforce training board, contracted with Synergy Billing to teach medical billing and coding to students with no health care experience.
And all along, Synergy Billing has worked with clients to provide training for their staff members to help prevent denials, a part of our service to them. That led to requests from Primary Care Associations to provide training for their member CHCs.
